We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer.

About The Role

You will be a part of a young, highly-skilled team and will be responsible for designing, scaling, implementing and maintaining features in our product.

We think that good coding practices are the key to delivering quality products - code reviews, tests, agile practices will be all part of your day-to-day job. We do regular releases and the impact from your work will be visible immediately.

Tech stack

Python and NodeJS for the backend services
MongoDB and MySQL for the main databases
ElasticSearch for complex search functionalities in the product
RabbitMQ as the message broker for the background workers
Docker and docker-compose for development

Requirements

Experience with Python (or some other scripting language like Ruby, Scala, Groovy, etc.)
Experience with distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
Experience with replicated services
Experience with shared storages
Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
Experience with relational databases and SQL
Experience with background jobs/processing
Experience with Git
